Community Health Systems RN Cath Lab PRN in TUCSON, Arizona

PRN working 10 hour shifts in the Cath Lab at Northwest Medical Center

Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work on a cohesive team in a friendly Cath Lab department

This position is for an Experienced Cath Lab RN

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures in the Cath Lab. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to a manager or head of the unit/department.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required : Associates or Diploma in nursing program

Preferred : Bachelor's degree in nursing

Experience :

Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS
