If so, WestLand may be the perfect fit for you.Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS/PLS) in the State of Arizona or the ability to obtain RLS in AZ within 6-8 months of employment. Capability to manage and oversee survey projects with minimal supervision. This includes organizing and scheduling of field crew for projects and meeting project deadlines. Capability of drafting finished or virtually finished deliverable product in AutoCAD (preferably Carlson Survey). Understanding and implementation of field to finish (F2F) software on all survey related projects. Preference using Carlson Survey with the AutoCAD engine platform. Carlson, Trimble, and SurveyPro data collection software knowledge. Understanding and application of ALTA & Arizona boundary minimum standards. Extensive knowledge of the Cadastral System (USPLSS). Proficiency with real time (RTK) GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and data collectors. Formal or self-education (preferably both) in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Geography, GIS, or related field. Continuing education in land surveying is required. Current and valid Arizona driver's license, with the ability to pass the requirements of a driver for WestLand. Ability to pass mandatory and possibly random drug testing. Ability to travel out of town, up to multiple days at a time, if project requires.
