The Test Environments & Operations (TO&E) Department is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to p rovide manufacturing engineering support for the Systems Integration and Test Directorate. The Manufacturing Planner will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need and final intended application. Utilize Engineering Material Requirements Planning System to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions and provide material/work order status to customers.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Actively contribute to the design, manufacturability, acquisition and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures
Participate in engineering design reviews
Maintain drawing configuration, acquire and track materials
Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and overseeing delivery of final products to internal/external customers
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires BS or BA degree and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience. Willing to consider two (2) years of directly related experience in lieu of every one (1) year of education, plus an additional (2) years of prior relevant experience
Two (2) or more years of experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment area
Previous work experience with material acquisition
Qualifications We Value:
Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware
Prefer four (4) or more years of experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation
Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings
Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications
Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts related to electrical instrumentation
Exposure to the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation
Experience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues
Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teaming environment
