Raytheon Technologies Manager Program Contracts in Tucson, Arizona
This position is for the Manager, Program Contracts for the Special Capabilities Sensors (SCS) program area within the Surveillance and Targeting Systems (STS) Product Area of the Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance Systems (ISRS) Product Line. SCS is the growth engine of STS with a diverse portfolio of cutting edge Electro-Optical/Infrared sensor development programs and products for a variety of customer platforms and missions. The leader who occupies this position will be a key member of the SCS leadership team contributing to all elements of its overall success.
This role will serve as the leader of a three person team of contracts professionals and report to the Director, Contracts for STS. This role is responsible for leading the SCS contracts team through the entire contracting process from RFP evaluation, proposal development, negotiations, contract management, and contract closeout. This includes managing relationships with customer counterparts and interfacing with senior leadership on critical subjects. The role will also heavily influence individual program and product line strategy by providing expert guidance on contracting matters and business issues generally.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience or equivalent in contract management and/or related fields such as subcontract management
FAR/DFARS based contracting with the U.S. Government
Team and/or project leadership
Clear and concise communication across all media
Problem solving using critical thinking focused through business priorities
Quantitative reasoning and data-driven decision making
Negotiating complex transactions
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U. S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start
Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance
Managing complex contract baselines for development programs
Mentoring and training early career teammates

This role has the ability to be 100% telecommuting, but must live near commuting distance to a Raytheon site in either El Segundo, Goleta, Ft Wayne, McKinney, Tucson, Largo, Arlington, Andover, Indianapolis, Warner Robins, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Annapolis Junction, or Forest.
