Greenhouse Technician, Tucson, Arizona

Day Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Work within a Controlled Environment Production Team.

Duties will be both independent and team-based working with Production Team

  • In this role, most time will be spent on your feet covering greenhouse or cold room operations.

  • Other duties include working with greenhouse automation, data entry, IT tools, pollination, harvest, shipping and receiving and plant health observations. with weekend days required, some extended hours or shift work as needed during peak times.


  • Experience working with plants in controlled environments greenhouse, nurseries, and/or growth chambers


  • Associates degree required and 2-5 years of experience in the field, Bachelors degree with 1+ years of experience in the field or related area, or 1+ year working at the Greenhouse Facility.

  • Should have knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within a greenhouse environment, and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, with attention to detail.

  • Attention to detail, ability to interface with iPod, computers, multiple software platforms, and automated equipment

  • Experience working with environmental control systems, fertilizers, plants in production environments, and/or pest management plans.

  • Good communication skills and organization skills are a must.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
