The ADOT Construction Office Manager is responsible for:
Overseeing the work activities of a construction project field office
Providing training, coaching, and guidance to inspectors and field staff
Functioning as the first contact for contractors, consultants, Department personnel, and other project stakeholders
Coordinating and complying with Federal, state, and local requirements
Reviewing and/or preparing contract documents related to actual cost of work, change orders, force accounts, unit price adjustments, and financial documentation
Reviewing and verifying certified payrolls, BECO contract compliance, Davis Bacon compliance, and monitor contractor’s DBE fulfillment responsibilities
Organizing ongoing project files and completing the project closeout for final review
Preparing correspondence for the Resident Engineer
Assisting the Resident Engineer with any necessary project documentation or coordination
- HS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in construction office environment.
Proven ability to Develop project-specific filing structure and document control procedures, including implementing into required electronic document management systems (EDMS).
Strong ability to interact and coordinate project assignments with technical staff.
Ability to perform administrative duties in a fast-paced and professional manner.
Proven ability to work under perform general duties that are often routine and repetitive.
