As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will perform multiple and diverse accounting activities including, but not limited to, accounts receivable functions related to translation services. You will works within the general scope of established operational goals, plans, procedures, policies or precedents using independent judgment and innovation for day-to-day work and decisions. End results and strategic issues are reviewed by the supervisor.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:
Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing and recording payments.
Create and maintain reports and statements related to assigned areas of responsibility.
Participate in audit preparation and related compliance activities.
Respond to and assist with various information requests from department managers and the executive team.
Analyze, interpret, and report data as requested.
Participate in implementing changes in procedures that affect assigned functions.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you must have:
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of general ledger entry process and various types of entries and accruals including, but not limited to: re-occurring and reversing accruals, and inter-company journal entry postings.
Knowledge of debit and credit posting and skilled at recognizing incorrect entries.
Working knowledge of the audit process.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you must be:
Skilled in researching, recognizing, reviewing and correcting discrepancies in the General Ledger.
Skilled in performing detailed and complex numerical computations.
Skilled in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis.
Skilled in reviewing financial statements for potential errors and ensure proper reporting.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Navision, ADP Payroll processing, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Skilled at communicating in English, both orally and in writing.
Skilled at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Able to operate competently common office equipment, including, but not limited to, computer, fax, copier and telephone system.
Ideally, you will also have:
Graduated from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or directly related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of full charge bookkeeping experience that includes advanced Microsoft Excel use; or any equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties.
Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to twenty pounds may be required
