Job Summary:

The Strategic Initiatives Lead - Process Optimization, Vice President role is to evaluate processes and conduct analysis working closely with various business unit leader to look for opportunities to create operational efficiencies and improve performance.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Have a broad and deep understanding of our internal and external partners and the markets they operate in

  • Determine and uncover new opportunities for process improvement

  • Identify, scope, and deliver on initiatives that aim to reduce costs and improve member, provider and broker experience through operational and strategic improvements

  • Continually refine operational processes for program oversight to ensure compliance and scalability

  • Support your team and leadership by driving decisions and implementation

  • Interface regularly with business leads to drive discussions and ensure deliverables are completed on time and remove roadblocks

  • Analyze organizational performance data

  • Executes a methodical approach to performance analysis by defining, measuring (waste identification, data availability and analyzing (root cause analysis) the system that produces the data

  • Conducts process/system improvement exercises that use the output from the measurement and analysis steps to reengineer processes that will improve organizational performance metrics

  • Offer recommendation on new systems, procedures, or organizational changes to the performance management team through presentations or written reports

  • Provides analysis and recommendations regarding the inputs

  • Leading the development and implementation of optimization initiatives

  • Designs lean prototypes to quickly provide actionable insight and test the hypotheses formed in concept development



  • 10-15 years of process re-engineering experience in financial services

  • Extensive experience working for banks, technology, or consulting companies delivering detailed analysis and creative solutions through strong analytical thinking by leveraging financial services industry knowledge

  • Demonstrated track record of creativity and ingenuity through past experience leading efforts such as product innovation and/or digital transformation

  • Proven analytical ability that may include lean/six sigma skills

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs

  • Experience / background in a fast-paced operations environment

  • Experience in delivering projects / programs independently and within a team environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Math, Statistics, Business) is required

  • Master's Degree in a related discipline is preferred
