The Strategic Initiatives Fraud Technology Transformation, Vice President is passionate about driving global programs designed to improve customer and employee experience across the Enterprise. Role is responsible for overseeing the Fraud Technology Roadmap both internally and vendor solutions. This role will drive change management efforts across a number of products, program and business intelligence initiatives.
Work with cross-functional technology teams responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation, support, and enhancement of the application portfolio for a functional line of business. You will partner with multiple members of the larger IT team and leaders across the organization to help position the division for success.
Provide leadership, guidance, and development across the team to support a culture of service, ownership, and accountability.
Oversee multiple projects at once, operating strategically and very tactically, and will be communicating at various levels: from being hands-on, willing and able to do the work as well as oversee it via code reviews, mentoring, and coaching junior team members, to planning and coordinating of strategies and activities related with senior leaders.
Collaborator with cross-functional, cross-platform organization to drive employee engagement, high levels of communication and collaboration, and a service-oriented culture of ownership and accountability.
Consult for platform, systems / solution integration architecture, evaluation, and recommendation.
Ensure recommended solutions (a mix of vendor and custom) support the Fraud Strategy and align to key business drivers including determining highest business value with the lowest total cost of ownership.
Partner with Business Units and internal partners to develop/maintain Business Cases for funding consideration.
Collaborate with the technology planning and business stakeholder teams to effectively translate functional requirements into technical specifications that can be quickly and accurately developed, leveraging an iterative model, to ensure the best possible time to solution.
Ensure the application development team(s) comply with development, testing and defect management processes to ensure a highly predictable, high quality deliverable to maximize value and minimize disruption.
Effectively manage the application development team(s) to meet expectations for budget and performance management.
Create and execute on the technology roadmap for the future state application portfolio.
Ensure compliance with quality and change management processes.
10 years progressive Information Technology experience that includes engineering solutions using programming languages
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Math, Statistics, Business) is required
Master's Degree in a related discipline is preferred
Deep knowledge of modern application development processes including Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Deep knowledge of solution delivery life cycles and development processes
Proven technical aptitude in one or more application programming domains
Exceptional communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization (this includes written, verbal, and visual communications)
Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups, and good negotiation skills including the ability to influence others with ideas and proposed architecture options
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate without guidance
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change
