Honeywell Advanced Sensing and Technology (AST) is looking for a sales professional to drive growth with some of its most strategic Aerospace and Military Defense accounts. In this role, you will be expected to understand the organizational structure of the accounts, determine the needs of the various programs and projects, build relationships with key decision-makers, and ensure that AST’s extensive product portfolio is utilized as much as possible. It will require account plan development and execution, weekly sales visits (virtual and physical), pipeline management, forecasting, qualification, and closing. In addition, the sales person will be expected to collaborate extensively with the Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation Line-Of-Business (LOB) marketing leadership, integrated supply chain, customer excellence, and engineering to drive the highest customer satisfaction.
Preferred location is Arizona, but we will accept any exceptional candidate that can easily travel to a major airport.

Account Plan Development
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience in Sales or Project/Program Management
5+ years of experience with Aerospace and Defense
Master’s Degree or Higher Education
Significant experience in a sales / account management related field
Prior Program Management or Engineering Management experience on DoD programs
2 years of experience working with semi-conductors, sensors, or microelectronics
A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
Excellent team and communication skills
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
An ability to influence at the operational level
An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
Significant experience in selling (industrial) products
Deep technical expertise
Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
