What you will do-
This role is responsible for building culture, processes and systems that enable the execution of the IBP process for a global franchise / division. This requires acting as an influential change agent between the sales and marketing leaders and the global operations leaders to proactively manage our business to the benefit of our customers and financials.
Develop relationships with key leaders in the commercial organization (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution) and the global operations plant network.
Lead the IBP process and the handoffs within the financial, demand, supply and collections reviews to ensure they are aligned to the operating goals of the division
Lead division through newly established PLCM process and gain leadership alignment and resource allocation for obsoleting of products as needed.
Coordinate between demand planning, supply planning, and sales and service to understand and communicate timelines and solutions for running to constrained in key product categories – drive consensus.
Coordinate the monthly IBP cycle including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions and critical meetings such as Net Requirements Meetings and pre-IBP working meetings and well as IBP meetings.
Manage the development, consolidation and communication of global Net Requirements plans.
Facilitate safety stock strategy decisions and report inventory trends and opportunities for DII and E&O reduction.
Conduct periodic IBP status reviews with the division leadership. This will involve presenting on key metrics and will include evaluation of the IBP process with the assigned GBU(s) and metric performance to target.
What you need-
Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management is required. An MBA or a Master’s in Supply Chain Management is highly preferred.
APICS certification is preferred. Must understand end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
8 years of business experience inSales and Ops Planning
Experience in the medical industry is preferred.
Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization is required.
Must have knowledge of demand management/sales forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues.
Expert Knowledge with Excel/Access to analyze large amounts of data and prior experience with demand and supply planning tools like Oracle Demantra / SAP APO or Oracle ASCP/ SAP IBP/SNP is a plus.
Strong negotiation & management by influence skills with the ability to drive results through a global matrix structure is required.
