Buena Vista Health & Recovery Centers Talent Acquisition Advisor in Scottsdale, Arizona

Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers is a growing, state of the art healthcare recovery center with multiple locations. We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team of passionate healthcare professionals at our Corporate Campus.

The Talent Acquisition Advisor supports all recruitment activity across all Buena Vista locations. This includes sourcing, screening, recommending, and onboarding candidates for entry to executive level roles. This role is also responsible for building applicant pools, establishing trust and partnerships with the managers, identifying potential “fit” through effective interviewing, and administering onboarding processes to ensure a positive new hire experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives

  • Communicates and meets with leaders to discuss headcount needs

  • Manages the full cycle recruitment and onboarding process from requisition approval – intake session - creating sourcing strategy and ad placement – sourcing candidates and conducting candidate interviews – onboarding process (offer letter, I9’s, e-sign documents)

  • Creates job descriptions and updates job description library

  • Reviews resumes, cultivates referrals, and pre-screens candidates while moving interview process forward in a timely manner

  • Develops effective and cost-efficient recruitment strategies

  • Develops and maintains relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, and community groups in order to identify potential applicants

  • Drives the offer process, including extending offers, negotiations, closing tactics

  • Establishes and maintains the applicant tracking system

  • Works with local management on company celebratory events and other reward and recognition initiatives

  • Assists and lead special projects

  • Provides weekly/monthly reporting to VP, Human Resources

  • Provides support and works collaboratively with the Human Resources department

    Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience where 2 or more of those years was spent recruiting for healthcare professionals

  • Proven success driving the full cycle recruitment process

  • Ability to work with all levels business leadership

  • Ability to work autonomously and at a fast pace; initiative and results-focused

  • Strong influence, business acumen, interpersonal savvy and decision making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information

  • Strong ethics and integrity

  • Exceptional presentation skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency using MS Office and Outlook

  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems

    Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurable experience and education

    Additional Notes

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
