This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job ID;202468POSITION TITLE Sr. Manager, North America Deal DeskLOCATION Scottsdale, AZ, or Dallas, TX, USAOVERVIEW The Deal Desk Team provides strategic, cross-functional and comprehensive assistance to sales contracting and financial compliance. As a Deal Desk Senior Manager, you'll be working on building process enhancements, scalable solutions that help our sales team and leadership make informed decisions, and focus on streamlining global efforts across the business.RESPONSIBILITIES * Implementing and managing approvals for non-standard deals and effectively collaborating across Sales, Finance, and Legal* Serving as a trusted adviser to sales executives and their teams on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support sales efforts* Driving and gathering competitive pricing knowledge from the field and feeding the learnings to the product pricing teams* Driving and executing decision reviews, approvals, and executing across competencies (quoting, legal, revenue, etc.)* Collaborating and working with global Deal Desk leadership to deliver consistent and exceptional support to our sales organization* Assessing Financial and revenue risk on non-standard deals and understanding and embedding financial/legal compliance* Building and leading systematic CRM workflows around Deal Desk sales engagement and Revenue team alerting for non-standard orders* Leading sales enablement, deal optimization, profitability and strategic positioning* Proposing and incorporating custom terms and legal edits into order forms and contract documents* Working closely with product marketing, industry strategy, and product management teams to remain current on product functionality, competition, industry trends, and thought leadership.QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor s degree or higher* 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in software or another high-technology industry, preferably in a contracting, revenue, sales enablement, deal desk, or similar function* Strong interpersonal, leadership and communications skills, both written and oral, with a proven ability to present information clearly, succinctly, and effectively.* Experience managing the end-to-end deal flow for a software or other high-tech company.* Proven leadership and influencing skills.* Strong analytical skills. Must be willing to take hands-on approach to triaging complex situations or escalations and work cross-functionally to resolve them.* Proven track record of success in Deal Desk, Sales Finance, and/or Sales Operations* Ability to understand complex technology solutions at a functional level.* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.* Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment.* Revenue recognition knowledge.* Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.*LI-TL1Supply Chain NationOUR VALUESIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
