Position Purpose: Senior Manager, Procure to Pay, will be the principal owner and lead efforts to expand and evolve the vision of GoDaddy’s global Procure to Pay (P2P) process. As a leader, you will work cross functionally with key stakeholders to define opportunities to improve and scale the end-to-end P2P processes. Your role will be to inspire and continue to grow a truly global team while also continuing to evolve and improve upon processes, continue efforts in automation and drive efficiencies through metrics, in order to support high growth at scale while driving financial accountability and value to our organization.

What you'll get to do...

  • Provide both strategic as well as tactical insight into global processes, automation opportunities, and future-state developments for our global P2P process.

  • Develops strategy collaboratively and establishes policy of a global nature for the organization’s P2P activities.

  • Work closely with our shared service partner supporting P2P transactional activities, and oversee the day-to-day operations and performance management, including metric analysis and root cause identification of issues to drive improved service from our partner.

  • Participate in our ERP and system enhancements, and drive communications and change management activities including training to prepare the organization for continuous process improvements.

  • Lead M&A integration activities for P2P and participate in global transformational and cross-functional process and system improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and scalable end-to-end processes to ensure our P2P processes are meeting the needs of the global business.

  • Manage global compliance to US GAAP, group accounting policies, and SOX requirements for P2P processes and ensure P2P maintains a strong environment of controls while not impeding our business partners from getting work done.

  • Work closely with internal audit and external auditors to ensure all compliance activities are properly executed in a timely manner.

Your experience should include...

  • Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related disciplines

  • Work related experience

  • 9+ years, with at least 2 years managing global projects and resources and experience in a leadership role as a Procure to Pay process owner, liaising and managing cross-functional teams across procurement, accounts payable, time & expense, and accounting

  • Experience in Shared Service Center environment is a large plus

  • Experience in SaaS or technology industry preferred

  • Specialized knowledge/Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the global Procure to Pay process.

  • A team player with ability to engage with different, cross-functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.

  • Project management experience and demonstrated ability to implement change.

  • Experience using reporting/analytics tools and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred. Solid knowledge of PowerPoint and the ability to prepare and deliver leadership presentations.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.

  • Ability to travel, both regional and international.
