Riot Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced, upbeat, quality-focused lead line cook to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary of Lead Line Cook

The Line cook reports to the Executive Sous-Chef or in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef, then the Executive Chef, and is responsible for the following a variety of tasks, including team leadership in the back of the house, maintaining the line, ensuring high-quality standards and correct preparations in food productions, willingness to help others in the kitchen, and maintaining a sense of teamwork.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 3 years prior cooking experience required, preferably in a scratch kitchen.

  • Must have experience cooking fish, steak, and chicken in a scratch kitchen

  • Previous kitchen leadership experience required.

  • Food Handlers card.

  • Must have high degree of customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal communications.

  • Must have experience with safe and effective knife work.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.

  • Position will require performance of duties both inside and outside.

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pounds including plates and trays.
