The eLearning Specialist is responsible for improving performance by creating both asynchronous and synchronous online training. The Specialist is responsible for using appropriate learning technological processes and resources for employee and customer training and development. This includes designing, developing and delivering training solutions including on-line classes, webinars, job aids, podcasts and simulations.
The specialist will:
Work closely with subject matter experts and the training team to design and develop course materials addressing underwriting and business skills
Have working knowledge of best practices to maximize learning transfer
Develop eLearning courses using Articulate 360 and Powtoons
Utilize WebEx to deliver instructor-led classes
Create, record and edit audio and video content
A minimum of five years of adult training in a corporate or college setting is required. Must have a functional knowledge of eLearning instructional design, development and delivery methods.
Knowledge of instructional design methodologies is required (ADDIE, SAM, LLAMA etc.).
Knowledge of training technology platforms such as Articulate Storyline and Powtoons
Three years of Property & Casualty experience or knowledge of insurance is preferred.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or a minimum of five years related training experience.
