Contracts Manager - Data Centers
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and organized contracts manager to join the Iron Mountain Data Centers Legal Team. In this position, you will provide legal support to the attorneys on the team. Primary responsibilities will be corporate legal matters including managing and drafting contracts (with an emphasis on vendor and construction related projects), advising senior management and ensuring all contracts are completed efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Draft variety of vendor and construction contracts, nondisclosure agreements, licensing agreements and other commercial agreements
Management of Legal Resource Center including updating forms; primary liaison for any form contract questions; coordination of any proposed updates or template issues
Provide redline recommendations on contracts
Maintain and update contract templates, contract records, changes, status reports, and other information
Prepare and update as necessary project management and contract metrics reports
Monitor contract compliance with established procedures and manage third party vendor compliance requirements
Ensure all contracts are signed and delivered to relevant parties
Work with other teams, such as finance, risk or legal, on contract insurance requirements
Primary liaison for procurement policy and procedural questions as well as update data center legal contracting policies and procedures for procurement and construction
Requirements and Qualifications:
Proficient computer skills including G-Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to learn and use proprietary software and database applications.
Excellent written communication skills, particularly with drafting and proofreading.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize a varied and heavy workload.
Ability to compose complete and accurate documents with attention to detail.
Ability to work on a team with attorneys, colleagues and assistant in handling responsibilities and fulfilling duties.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of customers, employees and proprietary information.
Travel not required.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and carefully carry out instructions.
Desire to work and collaborate in a team environment.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate with a minimum of three (3) years of paralegal or contract management experience in a corporation or law firm; law degree and construction law experience helpful but not required.
