Corporate Services Learning & Development provides training solutions to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) as well as to security, construction & technical support systems. These solutions touch the wellbeing of almost every Intel employee around the world. Team's scope includes driving the learning experience into the future by exploring & utilizing new technologies such as virtual reality & more.

The VR Creative will join the CS L&D team and will be part of creating new VR capabilities for training purposes. The VR creative will be responsible for developing/design concepts and approaches to a variety of VR courses that incorporate immersive interactions. Will be working in close partnership with other training functions as well as key stakeholders. The VR creative will support the foundation of VR training at Intel.

Must have 3+ years of experience combined in AR, VR, and/or game/film development, strong artistic abilities, understanding and knowledge of telling a creative, yet relevant, story through images, project management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, great communication skills and thrive in a global multi-faceted environment.

Qualifications

  • BS + 4 yrs. of exp.; MS + 3 yrs. exp. in software development with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related degree.

  • Must have 3+ years of experience combined in AR, VR, and/or game/film development, strong artistic abilities, understanding and knowledge of telling a creative, yet relevant, story through images, project management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, great communication skills and thrive in a global multi-faceted environment.

  • Develop, optimize and maintain VR training and simulation use cases by creating 3D models, storyboards, prototypes, textures, UV's, lighting, skeletons, rigs, animations, and VFX necessary to guide development of a well-made, high standard training.

  • Solve challenging technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline.

  • Work with ownership over the Unity codebase, prototyping and features implementation.

  • Drive the direction of User Experience, UI, Interaction, Level Design, Story-telling, gamification of content, Art, Animation.

  • Seek out creative opportunities to improve on existing style and approach.

  • Work collaboratively with project/program managers, instructional designers/training team and other programmers on the team or with outsourced contractors domestically and internationally to create AAA 3D CG art and bring CG assets into the production engine.

  • Accurately plan and scope assigned art tasks and deliver to schedule.

  • Manage multiple ongoing tasks and responsibilities of varying degrees of complexity simultaneously.

  • Document pipeline and workflow development processes.
