Position Summary:

The SOP Technical Writer will be working with the site's leadership team to create Standard Operating Procedures related to equipment and safety.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Verification of SOP / Work Instructions / Guidelines / Policy expire dates and initiating Change request along with proper Risk and impact analysis.

· Drafting of new SOP / Work Instructions / Guidelines by coordinating with functional heads or respective managers

· Ability to Format SOPs using MS Word and check for Proper English and Grammar

· Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increases the users understanding of tasks more easily.

· Use existing manuals to complete tasks, such as writing and creating content for operational procedures, maintenance procedures, and other related procedures.

· Test and verify drafted SOP's.

· Scrub existing content databases and make recommendations to inform content strategy

· Collaborate with multiple teams to gain alignment on content strategy and execution planning

· Collect data and insights to inform strategic decisions

· Identify opportunities to improve content development processes

· Execute multiple concurrent projects to meet business objectives in defined timeframes

· Provides support for site training events.

· Critical thinking skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.

· Requires flexibility and ability to multi-task.

· Able to solve routing problems.

· Presentation and delivery skills.

· Basic skills in design, development, and implementation of training material.

· Requires technical writing skills.

· Provides support for site training events.

· Recognizes and resolves training related discrepancies.

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
