Tech Bus Services Sr Associate
As part of the Enterprise Application Services (EAS), Continual Service Improvement (CSI) Service Management organization this role will have the responsibility for a wide range of activities focused on software asset portfolio management. This position will be responsible for the daily and strategic management and control of the middleware software asset portfolio in order to optimize and rationalize software offerings. This position will collaborate with the Enterprise Application Services Middleware Engineering partners, Enterprise Technology Asset Management and software owners/technical SMEs to track, maintain, and coordinate the software asset portfolio offerings. Position will be accountable for the maintenance of all Technology Standards Center records ensuring the accuracy and completeness of software assets to facilitate BAU configuration remediation and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Oversee a large software asset portfolio and lifecycle ownership
Develop and maintain software portfolio reports to evidence alignment to Middleware category strategy
Monitor installation trending reports to identify usage changes and support on-going business decisions
Product metrics to illustrate the appropriate management of software assets in the Middleware portfolio
Lead discussions with key stakeholders to drive portfolio rationalization
Custodian of all data relating to software in the portfolio, including: lifecycle, product ownership, usage guidelines, decision updates
Build relationships with CTO EAS and enterprise counterparts
7+ years of technology experience
7 + years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions
Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
Advanced understanding of IT industry frameworks including ITIL, IT4IT, COBIT
IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence tools
