How will you make an impact?

We're seeking a talented Software Test Engineer will develop and execute software test plans, designs, and automate test scripts. Also required are strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and customers in a non-technical manner while delivering on business requirements and value.

What will you do?

  • Performs both script-based automated testing and functional page by page analysis using Unified Functional Testing (UFT), unit and API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing

  • Able to design and implement test cases in a rapid prototyping environment with minimal supervision

  • Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously

  • Generate and execute test plans, verification and validation protocols. Capture the test evidence and prepare test summary document by end of project closure

  • Work with the design team to document product requirements and detailed specifications in the requirements capture tool

  • Enter problems discovered into the error tracking system, verify problems are resolved, and update problem status information

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement, recommending methods and procedures to streamline the process

  • Perform work consistent with departmental SOPs and create SOPs

How will you get here?


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline


  • 5 years of recent experience in software testing projects preferably for Windows based or web/cloud-based enterprise-scale applications

  • Experience in modern software testing strategies for automated functional testing, unit and API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience enhancing test automation frameworks

  • Demonstrate expertise in black box and white box testing methodologies

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools

  • Demonstrable understanding and experience with the employment of modern software testing strategies for automated functional testing, unit and API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing

  • Experience with test management tools that support Scrum (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)

  • Is a self-starter and comfortable determining direction in a highly dynamic environment with significant ambiguity at the project formation stage

  • Understands and applies Agile software development practices

  • Strong SQL experience required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

  • An ability to be productive and prioritize in an environment with multiple competing priorities

  • Able to assume and complete assignments independently

  • Understands and applies Agile software development practices
