VMware Sales Operations Associate - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Role and Responsibility:

As a Sales Operations Associate, you will use your analytical skills to derive insights from complex data and inform decision-making while using your outstanding communication and presentation skills to help you develop plans and recommendations that influence actions. Additionally, you will rely heavily on your execution skills to drive the implementation of strategic projects as well as core operational processes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation and reports that support the Sales Operations team. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with our external and internal team members to follow up on and execute operational items in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the documentation and communication of processes within projects and initiatives that impact front office tools/systems.

  • Work closely with operations and sales leadership to facilitate continuous process improvement and help drive incremental sales.

  • Analyze trends and pull insights from datasets and weekly reports.

  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams in Territory Management, Account and Opportunity to Order processes to keep tools current of territory realignment decisions.

  • Assist with the development and measurement of operational critical metrics to measure operations efficiency and assess strengths and weaknesses.

  • Use project management skills on specified initiatives interacting with the key stakeholders to ensure that project objectives, schedules, and deliverables are established and met.

  • Develop strong, positive working relationships with Sales Operations team member, and other teams this position will interact with on a daily basis.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 2 – 3+ years of experience in operations or finance

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance

  • Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a fast-growing environment.

  • Strong problem solving, priority setting, multi-tasking and collaboration skills

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to learn new systems and tools and drive or design improvements.

  • Ability to pay attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under deadlines.
