United by a single vision of creating memorable births for our patients, the LABOR CARE unit at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center consists of: an 8-bed OB Triage Unit; a 17-bed labor and delivery recovery unit; an 8 bed high risk perinatology unit; a suite of 4 ORs; a 4 bed PACU and a 15-bed antenatal unit.
Located in Phoenix, Az, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

All Staff Nurses are expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Basic Computer Skills
AZ RN license
BLS. ACLS, NRP, or NRP instructor within 6 months of hire.
CT EFM within 1 year for L&D experienced RN, within 2 years for new to L&D.
One year recent acute care experience
Professional certification in area of specialty
