Responsibilities

SUMMARY - Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift, including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provisions of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

Two years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty

Graduate degree: ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent.

Enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program required

Current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certificate and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) professional certification required

Microsoft Office experience

Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Current AZ State RN License in good standing

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program (American Heart)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within six months of hire into position.

PREFERRED

Charge Nurse experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

ACLS
