The Regulatory Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics and developing reporting for various initiatives led by the regulatory support team within the Operational Effectiveness Office. This role is responsible for coordinating daily logistics, identifying and resolving related problems using sound, independent judgement, and developing reporting for governance within the program. The Individual at this level is expected to work independently and use good judgment in escalating risks and issues in a timely manner.
Daily coordination of project activities & logistics
Develop reporting to management on project progress, outcomes, risk and issues with minimal supervision.
Uses sound judgement to escalate risks and issues, as appropriate.
works independently and uses good judgement in determining when to involve leadership in escalating key risks and issues
Document processes and procedures as well as offer and implement suggestions to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the processes.
Creates meeting agendas, presentations and captures notes, as necessary.
Creates and maintains the project Work Breakdown Structure.
Maintains the Project Issues and Risks Log.
3 - 5 years in a project management or coordination role, with a preference for experience in Financial Services
Ability to work independently in a complex environment with diverse groups of internal stakeholders and balance multiple priorities within compressed timeframes while thinking analytically and communicating effectively to a variety of audiences, including senior executives; must have sound business acumen and judgement—including ability to identify key risks and issues that require escalation to leadership
4-year bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience
Flexibility and learning agility; ability to quickly adapt to different and new ways of doing things as business needs change
Ability to work independently and function as part of multiple concurrent streams of work
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – including PowerPoint and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication.
