SUMMARY Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing product for warehouse operations and enters accurate data into inventory computer system to track location and quantity. Pick and Pack Material for shipment to Customer. Supports the Shipping Department by performing key administrative tasks to ensure timely accurate shipment of product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. In each of the duties listed below the employee is expected to perform to the highest standards of quality, to strive for maximum customer satisfaction, and to continually look for ways to improve the methods, practices and procedures of this position. Reads work orders or follows oral instruction to determine what materials or containers need to be moved. • Carries out all duties necessary to ship applicable orders both domestically and internationally and notifies and coordinates the company's domestic carrier shipping needs. • Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products. • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, or staging areas. • Loads and unloads vehicles as necessary. • Attaches identification tags on baskets, bins, or racks of material for recording purposes. • Records and posts transactions in SAP to ensure accurate inventory of material. • Transfers inventory in computer. • Picks material using forklift, packs material to customer specification • Reports inventory discrepancies. • Use banding machine and/or stretch wrapper. Responsible for complying with all company policies, procedures, values, ethics, and rules. Responsible for following all safety rules including, but not limited to, reporting all accidents to supervisor immediately and utilizing all proscribed safety equipment including personal protective equipment. As appropriate, submits documentation of specific training (i.e. course description, certificate). Maintains complete security and confidentiality of all Company records and employee data. Maintains a clean, orderly and professional work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
