The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) organization, which provides foundational technology platforms and services to enable innovation throughout GM IT, is seeking an inventory compliance and reporting analyst/lead to direct and handle the evolution and execution of compliance metrics reporting and analytics for GM IT related to technical, security, operational, business continuity, and EDW controls.


+ The lead analyst will be responsible and accountable for coordinating the production of the compliance metrics on an ongoing basis, in addition to defining and prioritizing any modifications needed to meet changing compliance needs. The lead will be the product owner for 5-Star compliance reporting and will be responsible for guiding the lifecycle of its features and capabilities. This role will influence direction at an organizational level for compliance reporting and therefore requires the ability to partner with global teams through formal and informal relationships to drive innovation and operational excellence.


+ Leading the approach to compliance reporting and management by working with the IT compliance control owners related to Tech, Security, Operations, EDW and Business Continuity


+ Leading the weekly data compliance reporting release for compliance metrics across all of IT


+ Working with the IT compliance control owners to specify metrics reporting modifications for each respective control area.


+ Evaluating processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and redefining insights into specifications for implementation in IT compliance reporting.


+ Assisting in Data Design sessions relate d to new metric and compliance reporting needs.


+ Conducting meetings and presentations with compliance representatives from each CIO team to ensure awareness of any changes in compliance or reporting direction and gather feedback.


+ Documenting and communicating the results of all efforts.


+ Communicating insights and plans to multi-functional compliance team members and management (CIOs, Directors and Managers).


+ Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to compliance team representatives from each CIO organization.


+ Performing user acceptance testing for all compliance reporting.


+ Updating, implementing, and maintaining documentation related to compliance reporting.


+ Prioritizing features based on business needs.


+ Serving as a liaison between control owners, stakeholders, and users.


+ Monitoring compliance deliverables and ensuring timely completion of reports.


Additional Job Description
