Summary:

The Functional Analyst on our team drive recruiting through the lens of business data by empowering Recruiting leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as into planning. In this role, you will partner with managers and Recruiting Analytics Business Partners to identify business needs and ensure that we have the data and dashboards to improve performance and efficiencies. The ideal candidate will be an experienced business analyst or data analyst with solid contributions in a data-driven environment, is focused on impact. They will have strong analytical, data/dashboard building skills and will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a cross-functional team to drive outcomes. We are looking for someone who enjoys building, figuring out the best way to achieve results, and working closely with a diverse set of teams. We need someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity and who uses creativity to combat challenges.

Required Skills:

  1. Connect global data and strategies to functional data in order to create team-specific analytics and reporting.

  2. Analyze, visualize, and generate insights by designing and implementing reporting solutions to support various company initiatives.

  3. Develop deep understanding of data models and business domain knowledge, and support data quality for allocated areas of ownership.

  4. Querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.

  5. Identify the mapping of the hiring targets that each recruiting team is responsible for delivering to the business, and provide recruiting managers reporting and analyses related to their targets.

  6. Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.

  7. Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Visier, and Excel to build and drive analytics and to enable client self-service on routine queries, as well as to design/run/deliver ongoing reporting and dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS with 5+ years (or MBA/MA/MS with 4+ years) of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.

  2. Experience in at least one of these fields: management consulting, sales operations, finance, human resources.

  3. Experience gathering and interpreting data.

  4. Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance).

  5. Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks.

  6. Knowledge of data visualization principles.

  7. Experience in data visualization tools and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros, etc.).

  8. Experience building dashboards using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending) or equivalent tool.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics).

  2. Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Visier, Salesforce etc.

  3. Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure.

  4. Experience in SQL.
