Project manages diverse event portfolio and event marketing team.
Project manages diverse portfolio of corporate event types ( seminars, executive roundtables, sponsorships) with specific teams mapped as event type specialists. Drives alignment of messaging and overall strategy; helps to ensure that the right event is delivered to the right audience at the right time. Drives creative thought process and continuous evaluation and refinement of Oracle's event marketing portfolio. Provides management with reports and analysis on program efficacy for future program selection and budget allocation. Provides effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced business skills in area of event production and design. 8 years relevant work experience. Software business management experience. Marketing experience in the IT industry. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations in terms of both people and money. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

As a member of the Global Events & Oracle Studios team, you will lead in designing compelling, engaging, impactful digital video experiences,establishing yourself as a trusted advisor who can eloquently and persuasively articulate digital video journeys to marketing business stakeholders alike. You will partner with event producers, marketers, event technology leaders and other stakeholders to advocate for expected experiences across the suite of technical offerings and platforms. Become a go-to experiential thought leader on existing and emerging industry, marketing and digital event trends, resulting in insights and analysis that can inform the viewer experience.
Lead in developing the attendee experience across several digital event engagements, including awareness, lead generation and tech education programs
Strategically leverage technology and design to maximize and optimize the viewer’s experience, acting as attendee advocate for all digital events
Think big, to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the digital and hybrid event attendee experience
Responsible for ongoing competitive intelligence gathering and vendor landscape monitoring for digital events
Develop an understanding of current event technology landscape and future applications and experiences.
Influence and align with key stakeholders across our conference portfolio on event strategies; understand event personas, as needed.
Drive and deliver best practice documents and process improvement documents
Review and analyze current digital event experience and future post-event feedback to understand how well the viewer experience was received in order to shape future event experiences and technology to different audiences.
Exhibit an exceptional understanding of digital event or online video/steaming engagements, including tools/technology, and best practices
8 years in digital marketing experience, in particular in support of large scale events and conferences, or as part of the viewer experience team within a streaming/web TV or similar service
Insatiable curiosity, a natural ability to imagine and visualize what could be… and the discipline and know-how to figure out how to transform an idea into reality
Strong team player, motivated to work collaboratively across a variety of stakeholders
Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders
Very strong presentation skills;articulate, polished and able to present to all levels of management
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Entertainment or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience and training).
Self-starter attitude, collaborative spirit, and ability to be flexible and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Avid consumer of digital trends with an ability to see how Oracle digital events can innovate.
Strong creativity, savviness and initiative.
Knowledge of Customer/Attendee Journey Mapping and Experience Design
Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to influence others and build consensus across diverse individual skills and styles
Ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously in a large, fast-paced, and unpredictable environment
