There is no relocation offered and no remote option (post covid).
IBM CIO Design is a large and diverse team of experts whose mission is to make work better for IBMers worldwide by improving the quality of their tooling and work environment. They are highly motivated, passionate, and dedicated with a track record of success.
It is no small challenge to keep a growing team of over 150 practitioners maximally productive when dealing with dozens of projects, many discipline-specific tools, a wide variety of devices, and individual training needs.
The Design Operations team within CIO Design is seeking an Operations and Business Process Analyst with Iteration Management experience to help with this challenge. This individual would join the existing operations team and be dedicated to helping the larger team thrive in a very dynamic environment. Responsibilities include ensuring that the CIO Design Team’s devices and software meet their needs as well helping to maintain and refine custom tools (e.g., enhance the analytics capabilities of user research tools). Additionally, this individual would track team metrics and project outcomes and provide Iteration Management support for one or more of our growing program offerings. This individual should be prepared to resolve known issues, but also be open to identifying and resolving problems not currently on the radar.
Provide Iteration Management support for one or more of our CIO program offerings.
Manage and secure software licenses as needed.
Tool admin, security, and support - handle user requests and validation, act as first-level support.
Working knowledge of metrics analysis to drive enhancement.
Track and report metrics for the CIO Design team (e.g., time to staff a project, project outcomes, etc.) as well as identifying trends and strategies to improve.
Act as Domain Privacy Focal to help ensure data is protected and proper security standards and procedures are being followed.
Communicate findings in a clear, concise, and visual (as appropriate) manner to key stakeholders and drive meaningful action based on those findings.
Maintain automated reports and dashboards and look for additional automation opportunities.
Establish strong cross-functional partnerships.
The success of the individual would be measured by the success of the whole team, demonstration of proactive issue resolution, and feedback from individual team members.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2+ years of experience on managing programs, a proven record of developing and executing strategy, and iteration management experience.
2+ years of experience in collecting data and developing plans of action
2+ years of interacting with team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve needs.
Experience adapting plans and direction based on metrics and feedback.
Proficiency using project management tools, presentation tools, metrics tracking and reporting, development tools, communication tools.
Strong communication skills (individual, groups, written, and all-hands presentations).
Passion for helping others to be engaged and perform at their best.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of experience on managing programs and a proven record of developing and executing strategy.
5+ years of experience in in collecting data and developing plans of action.
5+ years of development or maintenance of custom tools and hardware.
Prior experience working with Design teams
Adapting plans and direction based upon metrics and feedback.
