Thermo Fisher Scientific CMD Commercial Operations eCommerce Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona
The Commercial Operations eCommerce Analyst will play a key part on the CMD Commercial Excellence and Operations team and will be responsible for helping to guide the division through its eCommerce journey. The role will act as a subject matter expert in connecting our various ERP, web, and quoting tools and help to set and execute the vision of how CMD sells to customers online. The role should have an understanding of customer buying behaviors, industry best practices around eCommerce and digital tools, and system capabilities. They should be adept in working across multiple stakeholder groups, aligning to a mutual solution and have a strong analytical capabilities. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm for optimal customer experience, problem solving and a strong execution orientation.
Responsibilities
Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and IT to develop the eCommerce and Digital Selling roadmap for the division
Act as a subject matter expert across SFDC, CPQ, and SAP systems within CMD, AIG as well as LSG E1, thermofisher.com, and online quoting tools
Research, identify, and share industry trends and customer preferences around eCommerce activities to help guide divisional strategy
Execute projects according to the project plan, including leading initiatives and workstreams within the broader eCommerce roadmap
Establish, audit, and improve internal processes to ensure we meet the performance and productivity goals of the team and business
Support sales and commercial operations teams across the globe, assisting in troubleshooting issues as they arise as well as continuous improvement around tools and processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
5+ years experience or related graduate education in the areas of eCommerce, Commercial Operations, or IT
Strong knowledge of quote to cash process to apply in designing ecommerce solution
System knowledge across ERP, CRM, and web selling platforms
Ability to work with teams across the globe, including sales, marketing, IT, and Order Management
Demonstrated experience leading project teams is preferred
Strong demonstrated process and quality skill set (PPI, Six Sigma, etc.) and ability to facilitate others to optimal solutions.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills used in problem solving
