JPMorgan Chase CCB F&BM - Merchant Services - Business Management Associate in Phoenix, Arizona

Chase Merchant Services (CMS) is seeking an experienced Associate based in Dallas or Phoenix as part of the Business Management team to support the Presidents of the CMS segments aligned with Commercial and Investment Banking and other senior members of the organization. This is a high exposure role with direct interaction with the Merchant Services and Commercial Banking / Global Corporate Banking senior management teams to help drive cross-LOB and cross-functional initiatives and programs.

The key objectives for this role and team in 2019 are to deepen analysis of the business, optimize revenue opportunities, and enhance controls and efficiencies. The ideal candidate enjoys taking a consultative approach to problem-solving, has proven analytical aptitude, and excellent written and oral communication skills. The associate will support, and eventually own, business analysis in support of executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and execution support to sales leadership on key priorities and business activities

  • Assist in prioritization, implementation and measurement of key priorities, goals, and targets for the business

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into actionable insights to influence business strategies

  • Designand deliver executive reporting/dashboards to provide clear line ofsight into key performance trends and metrics for management

  • Developinternal communications pieces and content for executive presentation,business reviews, executive leadership conferences, town halls, fieldvisits, client meetings and industry conferences.

  • Demonstrateself-motivation and a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and skills;seek to continuously improve standards of work, address opportunitiesfor development.


  • Bachelors in hard or social sciences, MBA or graduate degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience at a comparable financial institution.

  • Must be a self-starter with strong critical thinking and experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and synthesize complex data or concepts, and communicate succinctly and clearly.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Superior Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

  • Comfortable interfacing with people at different levels within the organization and in various location
