The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. The investments we are making will help the company create innovative digital banking experiences, and make it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals.
The successful candidate will work with leaders and stakeholders within SDI, Independent Risk Management, Technology, and other partners across Wells Fargo to understand and proactively identify and manage risk. Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining New Business Initiative based on program requirements. Sound Compliance and/or Operational Risk background, strong project management, and senior-level communication skills are required. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Partner with the risk category SMEs to complete Policy Scoping Questionnaires (PSQs) RANBI reviews including Pilots, New Launches, Modifications, Retirements, Post Implementation Reviews (PIR), Product Portfolio Monitoring (PPM)s, and Business Growth Initiatives (BGI).
Complete Modification Materiality Assessments to support materiality decisions of product modifications.
Consult with the relevant business groups and risk category subject matter experts, including SMEs in businesses involved in cross-business or cross-channel products.
Partner with Risk Oversight to present or assist product owners in presenting Product Change Assessments (PCA) to New Business Initiatives Committee (NBIC).
Prepare and submit e mail RANBI approval requests as indicated by the SDI NBI Approval Matrix, highlighting key risks and mitigating controls. Follow up on delinquent approvals.
Facilitate the completion of PCAs, PIRs and PPMs in RANBI, partnering with Business Initiative owners, and obtain approvals within policy time requirements, including requests for extensions.
Keep Business Line and Group Coordinators apprised of the status of assessments in the SDI NBI pipeline. Notify them when assessments are complete and ready for QA.

10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: conduct risk, compliance, operational risk management audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk; or 6+ years of business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination thereof
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
A BS/BA degree or higher
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Deep understanding of a wide spectrum of operational risk and control areas.
Knowledge of regulatory laws/guidance and/or compliance experience working on high-visibility strategic initiatives and/or regulatory programs/projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact and lead discussions comfortably with senior levels of management.
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across a large number of stakeholders.
Proven ability to produce and publish clear and concise reports. Experience presenting material to senior levels of management.
Hands on style; proven ability to execute and achieve targeted results and develop and manage associated project goals and plans.
Background/experience in developing and implementing new products and services, particularly digital-based.
Experience developing and conducting training programs for new programs/initiatives.
Experience creating and managing policy and procedure requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
