Under limited supervision performs complex tasks to support the division by performing data analysis, data mining, design, development, testing activities, and execution of Ad-hoc and Standard reports to achieve strategic objectives and goals. Has working experience in writing and working with SQL (Standard Query Language), Visual Basic, and MS Access to develop queries to gather appropriate data from multiple systems and create reports in multiple technology applications (Tableau, Excel, etc.) and write SSIS packages. Serves on projects and/or pilots to develop and/or provide input for requirements, provide technical guidance for design or enhancements to system/reports, and develop Work Plans, schedule, monitor, etc. to ensure successful and timely completion.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge of Service Level Agreement ( SLA ); laws, rules, security policies, privacy, data confidentiality management.• Knowledge of Engineering workflow, IT lifecycle and system design, performance tuning, and Business Intelligence tools and features.• Knowledge of Statistical and business analysis and research and analysis methodologies.• Knowledge of Multiple Business Intelligence software applications ( SSIS , SQL , Tableau, Visual Basic, MS Access, and multidimensional and Relational database design.• Knowledge of Project management concepts, principles and practices.• Skilled in Dimensional and Relational database design.• Skilled in analysis, design review, trouble-shooting, implementation and integration for applications.• Skilled in keyboarding and use of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and Power Point.• Problem and negotiation skills to resolve issues.• Good time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.• Skilled in effective listening, oral and written communication skills to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a variety of audiences.• Ability to write requirements and diagram business processes, translate into technical solutions and reports, query and view objects, and present in a meaningful format.• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards.• Ability to work independently or collaboratively and under stress/pressure.• Ability to analyze data, develop and execute queries and reports, and proficiently manipulate data.• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities quickly while contributing feedback based on rules and regulations.• Ability to multi-task and made good decisions balancing competing deadlines and priorities.
