MassMutual Blueprint Income - Operations Support Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona
Blueprint Income is a leading fintech in the annuities market, recently acquired by MassMutual. Blueprint Income uses technology to build the next generation of retirement income products that enable Americans to retire with more security for less money. Our online platform enables the purchase of simple annuities from 30+ insurers directly by consumers. After the acquisition, Blueprint Income will continue to operate independently, with a focus on accelerating its growth trajectory and serving customers, insurance companies and partners.

We’re looking for an Operations Support Specialist to help us capitalize on this next phase of growth. You’ll process systems updates on a regular cadence and you will support our internal and client record keeping. You will support the service and processing roles that live within our operations and you will help with the financial record keeping for the company. You’ll also play an important role in identifying ways for better processes and better technology to improve the client experience. We see this role as a learning space within our team with an opportunity to grow knowledge, skills and responsibilities.
This role requires attention to detail, curiosity to problem solve and improve processes and strong organization and communication skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM Management. You’ll ensure leads, customers and records are maintained. You’ll ensure monthly contributions and income are reflected in the CRM and admin systems. You’ll reflect new policy and application statuses in the CRM and admin systems for customers.
Policy Management. You’ll work to ensure all policies have accurate payouts and client details. You’ll set up online accounts for new clients and link client accounts to new policies. You’ll handle ongoing contributions for existing clients. You’ll also maintain records of all issued policies.
Task Ownership. You will be given key tasks to complete on a regular basis, with little supervision you will be required to complete these tasks in a timely manner with accuracy. Examples include financial records and sending and responding to customer surveys.
Cross Training. This role will cross train to learn the key operations responsibilities and serve as a backup during high volume times and when necessary based on other business circumstances.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of experience as a CSR, in an Operations role, in a sales operation’s role, and/or at a fintech company.
Financial services and annuity experience preferred, but open to work with someone who is excited to learn about the annuity market
Organized and able to manage multiple projects and initiatives across several platforms
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to interact with clients and processing partners
Flexible and willing to adapt to changing dynamics within an evolutionary process and team
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
