Job Description

Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) Automation is hiring an Automation Integration Software Engineer to drive the requirements definition, development, qualification, and deployment of semiconductor factory automation software capabilities for Intel Assembly/Test factories worldwide.

This job will involve:

  • engage with partner groups on goals and deliverables, as well as communicating priorities and status updates in management forums.

  • lead a project team comprised of software, integration, planning, manufacturing and process engineers to drive the requirements definition, development, qualification and deployment of integrated factory automation solutions.

  • will provide consultation during technology development and help with optimization of automation solutions.

  • critical analysis, implementation of hardware and software components with project team members, and problem solving within the dynamics of an operating factory.

  • conduct a technical capability gap analysis based on strategic benefits or clearly defined business drivers, driving to a clear scope of work, systems or solution options analysis, failure mode engineering analysis (FMEA), Product Requirements Definition (PRD), and managing solution development through the factory automation Product Life Cycle (PLC) and managing risk.

  • Some supplier interaction and travel may be required.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or Engineering related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of software development experience in support of factory automation.

  • Minimum of 1+ year of data science experience

  • Knowledge of semiconductor factory automation systems such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Process Control Systems (PCS), equipment automation, Operational and Engineering analysis databases (e.g., Oracle, SqlServer).

  • Knowledge of relevant SEMI Standards on equipment automation interfaces (e.g., E5/E30, E10, E116, E40, E87, E90, E94)
