Essential Functions of the job:

The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing first level support to clients on inquiries or issues related to EYST. The engineer must be able to effectively diagnose the request, troubleshoot and remote in (if necessary) to identity and resolve the issue The support engineer must follow up with client to ensure issue was resolved to customer satisfaction before closing out ticket.

  • Answering support tickets and interacting with clients to troubleshoot issues with EYST.

  • Update, maintain and monitor support ticket requests and queue

  • Managing user access to the EYST platform

  • Organizing documents received from the client

  • Assist with bulk data updates including initial analysis

  • UAT Testing

  • Identify and help implement process improvements

  • Provide high quality service

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

Position is fast-paced and ever changing, requiring flexibility, self-initiative and regular ticket management to ensure timely communication to client for resolution.

Candidate must be able to grow in their knowledge of EYST while also identifying opportunities for technology and process improvement, as operational efficiency and scalability are critical.

Knowledge & Skills requirements:

  • Strong English language skills - both written and verbal

  • Experience with analyzing and solving problems

  • Experience working with business, management and technology concepts

  • Demonstrate project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective organization and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure

  • Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements

  • Confident at working effectively within a virtual or distributed team environment (this means flexible and fast paced, as the task requires)

  • Ability to effectively own and prioritize multiple tasks, including multi-location coordination

  • performing high-quality work and diligent follow up

  • Adept at summarizing and concluding activities, applying appropriate documentation standards

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Individual will have daily interaction with Operations lead

Other Requirements:

  • Flexible as well as work in excess of standard hours when necessary based on UAT Testing and busy season

  • Occasional night- time and weekend work is required for the position when workload demands

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, general business, technology or related field preferred or two - five years of relevant work experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong academic record/GPA, including, without limitation, course work that EY deems relevant to this position
