IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in Asset and Work Management, Digital Customer Engagement and/or CIS and Billing Transformation from Electric and Gas Utility industry. The Associate Partner is accountable for the successful sales and delivery of operating model, business process redesign, Intelligent Workflows and digital transformation engagements for our Utilities client. You will have direct involvement leading and selling cutting edge, first-of-a-kind solutions that combine Advanced Analytics capabilities of IBM's Watson platform with IBM’s experience-led transformation methodology to deliver solutions that fundamentally transform the customer experience and operations for Utility clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish compelling points of view about how Intelligent Workflows can be used to transform customer engagement and/or various aspects of Utility operations

  • Collaborate with IBM Watson Group to help develop Utility use case-specific assets and accelerators to drive transformation short cycle and long cycle work for Electric and Gas Utility, digitization of the meter to pay process and advanced analytics for operations effectiveness

  • Lead sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of transformational solutions

  • Establish and maintain deal focused, trusted relationships with clients and partners to scope, solution, propose, close, and deliver complex first-of-a-kind IoT and AI/ML enabled digital transformation projects

  • Facilitate Envision Sessions with Utility industry executives to re-imagine the customer experience, operations simplification and digital transformation roadmap

  • Assist in the growth and development of the Cognitive Process Re-engineering practice by providing leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities

  • Business case development, project and program management, proposal writing and business management

GBS10AP

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 10 years of experience negotiating and selling consulting services projects

  • At least 10 years of experience in Electric, Gas or Water Utilities

  • At least 10 years of experience in project management methodology

  • At least 6 years of experience in advanced analytics solutions

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services to C-suite executives of $3M+ / year

  • At least 10 years of experience delivering complex consulting services projects

  • At least 7 years of experience managing and leading teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 10 years of experience negotiating and selling consulting services projects

  • At least 10 years of experience in one or more of the following industries; Energy and Utilities

  • At least 10 years of experience in formal project management methodology

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services to C-suite executives of $5-6M+ / year

  • At least 10 years of experience in delivery of complex consulting services projects

  • At least 10 years of experience in advanced analytics solutions

  • At least 10 years of experience managing and leading teams

  • At least 10 years of experience in an engagement transforming customer experience or some back-office process leveraging analytics
