This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The Area Sales Director (ASD) is a field-based role responsible for the leadership, development, and success of a diverse sales team within an assigned geography, as well as achieving sales objectives at the regional level. The ASD will build, lead and coach the sales team for success; develop and implement sales plans; establish and meet customer needs; foster team development; and align resources to strategically position Belimed for success.The ASD will work jointly and collaboratively with a number of national and global internal Belimed teams to ensure a positive customer solution/experience.How you will impact Belimed and our clientsLeads and coaches a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers to exceed sales and performance expectationsCultivates relationships within field team, internal partners, key stakeholders, and customers to ensure Belimed is positioned for continued growth in all areas (equipment, consumables, and service)Researches, presents, and consults with senior level management on business marker and competitive trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channelsFosters a team selling environment where all resources are deployed efficiently and effectivelyIdentifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in salesForecasts sales targets on a monthly basis and ensures they are met by the teamTracks and records activity on key accounts and helps to close new business and meet/exceed financial targetsDevelops and maintains active relationships with key representatives of regional IDNs in close collaboration with the Business Development ManagerDevelops a strong working knowledge of Belimed products and services and how to properly position them as a viable customer solutionActively participates in local business chapters of AORN, IAHCSMM, ASHE, AIA, etc. and maintains relationships at regional level buying groupsAll other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeedBachelor's degree in sales management, marketing, or a related field10+ years in a direct selling role with progressive responsibilitiesDemonstrated business/strategic planning and launch experienceExperience working in with Integrated Health Network (IDN), Regional and GPO contractsProven successful track record of consistent leadership of high performance teamsStrong understanding of market dynamics and changing market landscapesIn-depth knowledge of complex sales environment with long sales cycles (over one year on average)Excellent communication and presentation skillsStrong experience using MS OfficeResidency within the assigned geographyAbility for significant overnight travel when neededAn outstanding candidate may also have:Masters of Business Administration, or a related field5+ years directly leading and managing a sales team, ideally in the medical equipment/devices or pharmaceutical spaceFamiliarity with a CRM systemWe offer competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, life insurance as well as a company-paid vehicle, laptop and cell phone.Belimed, Inc. promotes equal employment opportunities and will not discriminate, nor tolerate discrimination, against any applicant or employee because of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, disability, veteran status or genetic information.
