Sparklight Application Analyst - Billing/WFM in Phoenix, Arizona
Join Cable One as an Application Analyst - Billing/WFM. In this role, you will review, analyze, and modify the Singleview billing application. You will be responsible for system configurations including testing, debugging and supporting the organization's functional changes. Development with knowledge of downstream impacts and workflow including: provisioning for video, phone, VOIP, and Fiber products. You will consult with all business owners to insure operational strategic needs are met. Reflect the level autonomy, decision-making authority, breadth and level of work/accountability within the responsibility descriptions.

What this position does to contribute to the Company’s success:
Receive, research and resolution of first tier Billing/WFM Remedy and Support requests.
Perform routine operational tasks related to the Billing/WFM Applications and related components such as monitoring of queues, error reporting and overall system health.
Utilize privileged level access to applications in order to gather information, maintain and request changes.
Perform limited software application, implementation, configuration and testing to Billing/WFM applications
Assists with the implementation of changes as directed by department management
Write, execute and evaluate the results of database queries using database tools and SQL
Performs on-call duties as assigned.

Education and/or experience:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Associate’s degree preferred.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Extensive SQL Query and Database knowledge preferred.
Must be a self starter with sound problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be flexible and a team player.
- Position will require up to 10% travel. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required.
