Southwest Rock Products Crusher Operator - Nights or Days in Peoria/West location, Arizona
Aggregate Mining Company who is locally owned and have been in business for over 20 years is seeking applicants for a Crusher Operator. We are growing and expanding our staff and looking for individuals to join our team who is looking for long term employment. We are looking for day and night shifts.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Perform general maintenance, minor repairs and regular service on crushing and screening equipment daily as directed by supervisor.
Perform proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues.
Assist the plant Supervisor with record keeping and daily production schedules for submitting reports on production and maintenance
General cleanliness of assigned equipment.
Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.
Assist with safety audits.
Perform other related duties as required.
Long hours and weekends may be required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.
Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat more than 100 degrees, cold and rain.
Typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, but may be required to work overtime, nights and or weekends.
Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as, bend and lift up to 80 pounds.
Work shift from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. and some weekends.
