PDS Tech Inc Procurement Analyst 1 in Mesa, Arizona

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Analyst in Mesa, AZ.


  • Assists in the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities. Assists with the maintenance of processes and systems. Utilizes procurement/planning systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis. Supports the coordination and tracking of action items and metrics, supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis.

  • The selected candidate will join the Post Award Supplier Management Team and interface with all program sites and multiple departments throughout our organization. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, navigate numerous complex systems and tools, capable of problem solving and have a sense of ownership from beginning to end. Candidates will be required to work closely with external Supply Chain and our functional and business partners (Engineering, Quality, Receiving, Program Representatives) to ensure timely status and delivery of spare customer requirements.

Responsibilities and Deliverables may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Process Standards and Best Practices:

  • Supports reviewing supplier schedules, recovery plans and/or processes to execute post award activities.

  • Assists activities to define, evaluate, coordinate and execute supplier delivery recovery plans.

  • Follow supplier management procedures and processes and apply them as appropriate.

  • Utilize numerous internal systems to document post award activities including supplier delivery status.

External Requirements and Dependencies:

  • Establish partnership and coordination between Stakeholders across various Organizations.

  • Assists to establish process expectations and reporting cadence with supply base.

  • Leadership ability in exercising sound judgment in setting, balancing and focusing on multiple priorities while understanding dependencies with other organizations.

  • Advocate for the supplier and champion supplier performance improvement.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

  • Supports creating, tracking and reporting supplier performance metrics to leadership, weekly, or as required.

  • Understand internal system requirements and system dependencies for accurate, timely reports and metrics.

  • Monitors appropriate services and product metrics, adjusts and adapts to changes, communicate risks and opportunities while also ensuring proper documentation and resolution, and executing to plan.

Education / Experience:

  • Prefer College degree, experience with MRP and finance systems

Desired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements.

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences, including Technical and Management communities.

  • Experience utilizing system tools such as Cognos, Supplier Delivery Follow up (SDF), Supplier Management Procurement Portal (SMPP), Invoice Visibility System (BIVS), Enterprise Supplier Performance Measurement (ESPM), Accelerated Receiving Execution System (ARES), Supplier Profile Visibility Report (SPVR), Supplier Quality Information System (SQIS).

  • Preferred experience in MS Word, Excel and PPT.
