n

Ensure that all invoices received for payment are processed in a timely manner and sent to Corporate for payment.

n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

n

+ Receive and match all invoices to packing slips and purchase orders.

n

+ Process all invoices for payment after approvals from appropriate department head.

n

+ Accurately code all invoices, Special Disbursement Checks, and Petty Cash Disbursements.

n

+ Maintain vendor files.

n

+ Review vendor statements to ensure payments are being made in a timely manner and all account information is accurate.

n

+ Obtain necessary documentation from vendors (W-9s, etc.).

n

+ Perform full Cashiering duties.

n

+ Verify daily deposits and daily closeout paperwork from all departments and prepare monies received for bank deposits.

n

+ Prepare contracts for new renters and collect money.

n

+ Receive money from customers and post to accounts as well as daily deposits.

n

+ Aid moorage and Trailer Village customers' requests directly or through proper referral.

n

+ Maintain a thorough knowledge of all safety procedures.

n

+ Perform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and promptly report any deviations of environmental policy to their supervisor.

n

+ Be aware of and participate, where necessary, in the achievement of environmental objectives and implementation of the environmental management system.

n

+ Answer the telephone in a professional manner.

n

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.

n

+ In Accounting Manager's absence, administer Petty Cash.

n

+ Provide excellent customer service and maintain a polite attitude to promote professionalism and a high standard of excellence.

n

+ Provide information to customers regarding the resort, the general area, and all upcoming activities.

n

+ Assist with maintaining the highest possible marina and occupancy rate through the rental of slips, dry storage and Trailer Village while providing the highest quality customer service to renters.

n

+ Prepare all requested reports regarding occupancy, receivables collection, and customer requests.

n

+ Maintain a clean work area.

n

+ Check and clean office and restroom daily or more often as needed.

n

+ Maintain and convey a thorough knowledge of all safety and environmental requirements.

n

+ Swift handling or notification of management concerning hazards or problems.

n

+ Assist in the program for Green Procurement.

n

+ Such other and further duties as are required from time to time, and as defined by Company Management.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS



n

+ High school diploma, GED, or other acceptable experience.

n

+ Minimum two (2) years accounts receivable experience with heavy customer service.



n

+ Minimum two (2) years of experience working in QuickBooks and all Microsoft Office programs.



n

+ Recreational boating experience preferred.



n

+ Minimum one (1) year money-handling and cash register experience.



n

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

n

+ Extensive knowledge of proper moorage and Trailer Village regulations and procedures.

n

+ Ability to type accurately.

n

+ Good computer skills - Excel and Microsoft Word.

n

+ Ability to understand and implement basic math skills.

n

+ Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

n

+ Ability to keep and maintain organized records and filing systems.

n

+ Ability to count and account for large sums of money.

n

+ Excellent customer service skills.

n

+ Knowledge or ability to be trained in fire extinguisher operation, ISO / EMS Awareness, Employee Orientation, Hazard Communications, Hazardous Materials Response / Respiratory Protection, Recycled Materials, Bloodborne Pathogen Awareness
