    Eligible individuals can receive a $2,000 Return to Work Bonus (RTWB) from DES after working the equivalent of eight 40-hour weeks (320 hours) or more over the first ten weeks after returning to work at a qualifying job. Employment at a qualifying job must begin between May 13, 2021 and September 6, 2021.

    DES anticipates launching the program portal July 10, 2021, for individuals to apply for a RTWB. Individuals who intend to apply should save their pay stubs in order to verify their qualifying hours worked after leaving unemployment and returning to work.

    POSITION SCOPE

    The Maintenance Manager/Supervisor is a safety sensitive position supervises a crew to perform all necessary duties in the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and crusher repairs. Individual will assist with scheduling work, checking accuracy, and quality control for all phases of fabrication and/or repair. The position will work closely with other team members.

    PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Adhere to preventative maintenance program including inspection and oil changes

  • Diagnose, maintain and repair semi-trucks, trailers and dump trucks

  • Troubleshoot/Solve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment

  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance work

  • Disassemble, assemble, install new machines, condition monitor sensors, equipment

  • Ability to properly manage time and responsibilities

  • Knowledge of standard tools/techniques and computer diagnostics

  • Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all DOT and company policies, procedures, regulations and standards of safety

  • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold, and rain

  • Supervise multiple employees as well as training employees and appraising performance

  • Plan, assign, direct and prioritize workload.

  • Perform major and minor repairs on equipment

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and crushers

  • Maintain parts inventory

  • Read, understand, and follow blueprints, plans, material lists, and guidelines

  • Conducts and participates in regular safety meetings

  • Fulfills all regular and advanced fabrication/maintenance duties, including project layout, and completes all required documentation in a timely manner

  • Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames

  • Enforces all company safety policies and procedures

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including crew member discipline and documentation.

  • Responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on equipment

  • Determine equipment condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic test to identify worn and damaged parts

  • Complete preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment available for use

  • Verify equipment performance by operating equipment

  • Other duties as assigned

    BACKGROUND

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years old

  • 3-5 years of Supervising in a shop setting is preferred

  • Experience with Industrial Maintenance and own tools required

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required

  • Basic Computer Skills Required (Email, Smart Phone, Excel)

  • Team player who is self-motivated with a positive attitude and high regard for safety and reliability

  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement & DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate is preferred

  • Acceptable MVR in accordance with Stinger Bridge & Iron's Company Vehicle Program policy is required

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test is required
