The Software Sr. Engineer will support the product management and development activities related to Wells Fargo's Open Resiliency Automation Platform suite of products. The platforms support Disaster Recovery playbook orchestration and failover automation, Application to Infrastructure dependency mapping, product level monitoring and other technology resiliency functions.

The Software Sr. Engineer role will support the Product Owner in defining the product vision and roadmap, and work with development/delivery teams and other stakeholder groups across the Enterprise in delivering the capabilities outlined in the roadmap.

He/she will drive the planning, implementation, roll out and adoption activities and will engage with development team on the following: Facilitate requirements definitions, Agile story acceptance and refinement, UAT testing and validation; and contribute to design activities and decisions. The role requires experience in Agile methodology and has been part of initiatives to roll out capabilities to internal IT stakeholders in large financial organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners

  • 5 + years of experience leading multiple workstreams, applications, or deliverables

  • 2+ years of Agile experience

  • 4+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure: data center, network, storage, and compute domains

  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: leading large scale technology projects

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently plan for short-term and long-term deliverables

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
