Microchip Technology Representative- Global Sales Support in Chandler, Arizona

Description

As a Global Sales Support Representative/Market Specialist you will work within a team that specializes in supporting Microchip’s focus clients. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of support for Microchip’s key clients including managing supply chain shortages, establishing VMI programs, issuing RMAs, setting up EDI, working with the ISRs to ensure sufficient backlog coverage based on the current lead time to minimize shortages, processing special customer requests (NSCARs) and participating on customer calls. You will be the liaison between the key client and field Sales to service a variety of factory level customer service needs. Occasional travel to Microchip Sales Offices and key clients to build relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of five years’ direct customer service experience specializing in providing support to clients in supply chain management is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written. Ability to communicate thoroughly & effectively both internally as well as externally to clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Possess adequate knowledge of the semiconductor industry, particularly with experience in the working supply chain shortages.

Have excellent problem-solving skills and possess a strong desire to work towards continuous improvement.

Be organized and be able to manage time effectively.

Able to work well under pressure & handle a high volume of activities.

Be a team player, with the ability to work well with others and participate in cross-functional teams.

Customer service oriented with a strong desire to help & serve clients.
