Summary/Objective: Director, Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the overall project management function, providing / leadership / , integration and management of PMO processes and functions to improve the consistency and efficiency of project delivery. A key responsibility is to facilitate the strategic alignment of Rogers investments and plans with business priorities through the portfolio governance process

Essential Functions: 1. Creates and maintains overall Project Management Roadmap, directs and coordinates the efforts of project managers. Manages the overall risk of the portfolio projects and programs. Identifies and executes opportunities for continuous process improvement in the project management process.

  1. Drives a culture of urgency and on-time, on-budget, on scope project delivery, with a high degree of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Drives to keep overall resources on task and on schedule, manages change, understands project management issues and risks and supports project managers to ensure that they get prioritized, highlighted, addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

  2. Interacts with management in the business units and the functions to ensure successful product development and market introductions. Develops and maintains program plans and communicates program status to management and internal teams. Identifies innovation opportunities to add value to programs and products and provide value for the customer, beyond defined project scope and constraints.

  3. Manages and coordinates interdependencies between project teams. Supports coordination between initiatives and identifies decisions/issues requiring cross-functional portfolio governance review. Coordinates resource planning across projects.

  4. Provides regular updates to all Stakeholders on project portfolio status and progress being made. Manages changes to project / program scope, time, resourcing and cost to ensure that all impacts and changes are approved and appropriately communicated to Stakeholders.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Integrated Supply Chain/Manufacturing or related field or Degree Experience Required.

    • 10-15 years’ experience in project management methods and techniques, development life cycle disciplines, including risk and issue evaluation, and development and implementation of sophisticated project work plans

    • 3-5 years experience managing a Project Management Office with demonstrated experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and definition of key performance indicators

    • 8 years experience managing IT and Integrated Supply Chain/Manufacturing projects and resources

    • 8 years experience using project management tools such as Microsoft© Project and resource tracking and documentation systems Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Clear and organized written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to influence senior management

    • Well-developed analytical skills, problem-solving and use of project management tools. Preferred Education and Experience:
