Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

As Customer Service Administrator, you are responsible for supporting the Site’s sales success by performing operational and administrative activities for assigned Regional Sales Managers and customers. In this role you will act as a customer liaison regarding quotes, purchases, order status, data entry and maintaining files. The following responsibilities are typical of what this position may be required to perform, however they are not all inclusive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide follow up and support to the Regional Sales Managers.

  • Prepare quotations for assigned customers.

  • Review, interpret, and enter data into internal databases, ERP or CRM tools.

  • Issue credit memos and return material authorizations.

  • Provide order status to customers.

  • Ensure export license compliance.

  • Log sales information with few errors.

  • Uses knowledge to solve complex business problems.

  • Escalate issues as needed.

  • Improve the sales process.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years administration experience. Electronics industry preferred

  • Associates degree preferred

  • Oracle and CRM experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of sales process and operations.

  • Able to follow department processes and work flow.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot customer issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly and analysis as needed to customers.

  • Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve routine to moderately complex problems.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (word & excel) skills.
