Our location in Casa Grande, Arizona currently has an opportunity for a Sanitation Manager. This site is one of six Abbott nutrition manufacturing plants in the U.S., with about half of its products exported around the world. What you will do as a Dryer Operator
The operator will learn the operation of the fluid bed room for production and the cleaning process. The operator will learn the operation of the lactose, rework and whey protein systems, operational knowledge of powder transport systems and handling and storage systems. Operators will gain operational knowledge and applicable tasks of evaporating batches, product sterilization, drying product, weighing and adding vitamins, add up corrections, troubleshooting and CIP of equipment and following all GMP/safety guidelines to stay in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
Fluid bed operation (including CIP)
Weighing/adding minerals and vitamins
Assisting dryer technicians w/production of CIP
Housekeeping tasks/sanitation procedures
Operation of filling stations
Assembly and disassembly of IBC systems
Reconstitution of NFDM
Assembly/disassembly of various powder transport systems
Evaporator system operation and CIP
Injector system operation and CIP
Dryer system operation and CIP
Fines reinjection system and CIP
IBC filling, handling, storage (forklift operation)
Powder handling systems (transporters to hopper)
Education and Experience you'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
