RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

• Install our security systems in commercial properties

• Wiring and trim out of structured cabling, audio/video, security, and CCTV systems

• Installing electrical apparatuses and equipment in a residence

• Working with a maximum of 240 volts

• Commercial wiring

• Troubleshooting

• Trim and fixtures

• Reading blueprints and schematics

• Low voltage installations

• National Electrical Code NEC

• Installing commercial safety features and ground connections

• Installing low voltage

• Ability to use a multimeter and other common tools of the trade

• Ability to climb ladders, operate aerial lift platforms

• Ability to pull, secure and terminate wire

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-10 years of experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting security, audio/video, networking, and CCTV Systems

• A wide range of experience from Pre-Wire to Programmer

• Ability to read and install systems per design drawings and sales proposals

• Position requires high level of efficiency, attention to detail, quality control, and teamwork

• Candidate must possess all necessary hand tools to complete daily tasks

• Candidate should be comfortable with training junior installers

• Must have a clean driving record

Proficient knowledge with the following system types:

• Security – Honeywell, DSC, 2GIG, other systems a plus

• CCTV – Honeywell, Alarm.com, Luma,

• Wireless – Z-wave locks and thermostats

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:The position requires both field and office time. Physical requirements include walking new and existing commercial and residential sites in various stages of construction, climbing ladders/stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in outdoor weather conditions, sitting, driving to jobsites, use of typical hand and electrical tools.
